Better late than never right? It’s funny how a lot of things slip through the cracks when you have your second baby. One of them being, blogging about your baby shower! (or baby ‘sprinkle’ as some might say for baby #2). But I want to take the time to post about it, because I love looking back at this blog and having those memories. Plus, I want to show you what an amazing job my step-sister and mom did throwing me this shower for my sweet baby Connor!
When we were thinking about a theme, I knew I wanted it to be woodsy. We had just moved to Oregon in 2015 and I was feeling a close bond with nature. So wood and little creatures and leaves were all I had on my mind for this party. & boy did they deliver!
It started with the invitation. My step-sister Katie sent out this adorable invite using Paperless Post. If you haven’t used this service before, go check out their website. They seriously have the most beautiful e-cards and invitations! I was so in-love with the card she picked below.
I flew down from Portland, Oregon to Newport Beach, California for my baby shower. It was such a beautiful day reconnecting with my dear friends who many I hadn’t seen for quite some time since moving. I got my hair done at The Dry Bar and felt so pampered and loved!
I absolutely loved all the little details that my mom put together – like Connor’s name spelled out and all the leaves and creatures. She even made banners by hand! Katie picked out the cake and it went perfectly with the theme! So cute!
The craft was super clever. They had a station set up where everyone made little toy blocks. It was absolutely adorable!
It was the perfect day with my close group of friends. I felt so spoiled and loved!
